The Sacramento Kings continued making their offseason overhaul official Tuesday, announcing the signing of Luc Mbah a Moute.

It's fitting that the photo they tweeted is in black and white, as strangely, terms of the deal were not reported before the team made an announcement. Beating reporters to a scoop is a rare throwback these days, and while the contract is believed to be for one year, that's yet to be reported firmly.

Should Mbah a Moute's deal come in for one year at the veteran's minimum, he'd be paid $1.3 million for the 2015-16 season. The Kings also have a modicum of cap space they could use to go over $1.3 million for Mbah a Moute, who earned $4.4 million last season with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The organization is vaguely familiar with the 28-year-old stopper, as he spent nine games there during the 2013-14 season in between trades. The Kings' interest was reported earlier this week, though he seems an odd fit as a non-shooter on a team that could have several lineups suffocating for spacing.

In 466 career games, Mbah a Moute, who can capably help guard three positions, has averaged 6.8 points and 4.9 rebounds, shooting 44.4 percent from the floor and 29.9 percent from long range.

The Kings also confirmed they have re-signed Omri Casspi, which was fairly obvious when he was with teammates in Las Vegas this week. Casspi was reportedly retained on a two-year, $6-million contract, bringing back an element of playmaking from the wing and shooting from outside.

The 27-year-old averaged 8.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 67 games with Sacramento last season while knocking down 40.2 percent of his 3-point attempts.
