Let's make a deal.
With both sides presumably unwilling to budge, Ottawa Senators forward Mike Hoffman has filed for salary arbitration, according to TSN's Frank Seravalli.
The 25-year-old is a restricted free agent coming off his first full season with the Senators, where he led the team with 27 goals.
Senators assistant general manager Pierre Dorion said last week that, despite good talks with Hoffman, both sides were far apart on a deal.
