Shane Victorino: (Calf) Activated Friday

Victorino (calf) was activated from the DL on Friday, the Providence Journal's Tim Britton reports.

Analysis:

While he is not in the lineup Friday, look for Victorino to see a good amount of playing time in right field going forward. He should share time with Alejandro De Aza, but if the Red Sox want to showcase Victorino for a possible trade it would make sense if he was used as the primary option in the short term.
