Blue Jackets sign John Ramage to one-year, two-way contract

Aaron Doster / USA TODAY Sports

John Ramage signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday, NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Ramage was not tendered a qualifying offer by the Flames last month, making him an unrestricted free agent. The defenseman spent the majority of the season at AHL Adirondack, tallying three goals and 12 assists in 57 games. He'll likely spend the bulk of 2015-16 in the AHL.
