The Winnipeg Jets have come to terms with defenseman Andrew MacWilliam on a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced.

The deal has an average annual value of $600,000.

MacWilliam, 25, made his NHL debut with the Toronto Maple Leafs last season, recording two assists and 12 penalty minutes in 12 games.

The former seventh-round pick in the 2008 draft spent the majority of his year with the AHL's Toronto Marlies.
