Jones has been suspended one game for a violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports.

Analysis:

Selected 26th overall in the 2013 NFL Draft, Jones has yet to make a significant impact with the Packers. Through 29 career games, he's so far tallied 32 tackles (24 solo), five sacks, one interception, and one fumble recovery. The suspension will keep Jones out of the season opener on Sept. 13 at Chicago, meaning his debut will take place in a Week 2 showdown against the Seahawks.
