Hicks (forearm) will not be activated from the disabled list Monday, Brian Murphy of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Analysis:

Hicks was expected to be ready to go by the start of this week, but after Triple-A Rochester experienced a rainout Saturday, the outfielder's rehab process got delayed. He'll pick up a few more at-bats with Rochester on Sunday and Monday before likely rejoining the Twins later in the week. Once activated, Hicks should have a fairly clear path back to regular center-field duties after Byron Buxton sprained his thumb and landed on the DL.
