Robinson Cano: (Head) Will Play Sunday

Cano (forehead) is in the lineup Sunday against the Angels, Shannon Drayer of 710 AM ESPN Seattle reports. He'll play second base and bat third.

Analysis:

Cano was removed from Saturday's game in the seventh inning after he was struck in the head by an errant throw while the Angels were warming up. Though the situation appeared quite scary from the outset, Cano avoided a concussion and escaped with merely a welt on his foreahead, which appears to have dissipated overnight. It looks like he'll be good to go for the full game.
