Defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky might not have his wishes met.

After the 38-year-old's agent stated that his client would like to return to the New York Islanders, the team's general manager Garth Snow made it clear that the chances of that happening aren't very good.

"I don’t anticipate Visnovsky coming back, so there’s potential for one of our young defensemen to earn a spot," Snow told ESPN's Pierre LeBrun.

Visnovsky's agent told Stephen Lorenzo of the New York Daily News Tuesday that his client is "definitely" going to play next year, but as it looks now, it will be with a different club.
