New York Islanders defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky is not ready to hang the skates up just yet.

The 38-year-old is coming off his 14th season in the league, but nevertheless, the blue-liner's agent told Stephen Lorenzo of the New York Daily News that Visnovsky is "definitely" going to play next season.

"He really likes Isles, for sure," said Visnovsky's agent.

Visnovsky proved he can still be an asset at his age after putting up five goals and 20 points in 53 games last season, but his health has been an issue. The rearguard has played in just 77 games over the past two seasons.

Visnovsky will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
