Jason Day drops 5 birdies on back 9, finishes tied for U.S. Open lead at 4-under

Jason Day put together an incredible round, finishing up at 4-under and grabbing a share of the lead Saturday at the U.S. Open. With five birdies on the back nine, Day is the only player on the course under par. He is also dealing with vertigo, which caused him to faint during Round 2.

Day collapsed near the end of his second round at Chambers Bay on Friday while walking on the ninth-hole fairway. Day has been experiencing benign positional vertigo for a number of weeks.

"The vertigo came back a little bit on 13 tee" Day told reporters following his round. "And then felt nauseous all day. I started shaking on 16 tee and then just tried to get it in."

After scuffling early, with two bogeys on the front, Day seemed to relax at the turn and started dropping putts, left and right. Day striped the ball all day and proved, once again, why he's one of the most dangerous players on tour.

If he's putting well, Day will be hard to beat on Sunday.
