Sergio Aguero suffers shoulder injury during Argentina's Copa America win

The Argentine Football Association announced that Sergio Aguero will undergo tests to determine the severity of the shoulder injury he suffered Tuesday during Argentina's 1-0 victory over Uruguay.

The Manchester City striker was forced to leave late in the match after suffering the shoulder ailment and is in danger of missing the country's final group stage encounter against Jamaica on Saturday

It's a tough blow for the club following Aguero's game-winning goal a half hour before the injury occurred. Argentina, however, should overcome his absence if he's forced to miss any time with the injury thanks to their plethora of talent.

Aguero, who led the Premier League in scoring with 25 goals, fell victim to Uruguay's rough tactics, which teammate Lionel Messi had predicted and warned his teammates about prior to kick-off.

"They set out to play a tough game from the start, where they did not want to play much," Messi told reporters. "Fortunately, Kun's [Aguero's] goal arrived, and after it was a battle, as that is what the game asked for. It was a physical duel, a fight, and we showed we can also play that way. We do not look for it, but we know how to play this way too."

Barring a disaster, Argentina should advance to the knockout stage of the tournament as they sit atop Group B with four points through two games.
