Starting Lineup, May 2: Game 7, baby
Horse racing and boxing take center stage Saturday, just like it was 1925.
However, that seminal event of sports - a Game 7 - also goes down at the Staples Center with the Los Angeles Clippers hosting the San Antonio Spurs.
The winner gets the Houston Rockets in round two.
It has to be said this is a game that could be Tim Duncan's final one in the NBA. The same goes for teammate Manu Ginobili. The pair are 3-2 all-time in Game 7s, and the last time they won one on the road was against now-Clipper Chris Paul's New Orleans Hornets in 2008.
By necessity, Doc Rivers has been riding his starters hard throughout the series, with Paul and Blake Griffin logging 40 and 41 minutes a game respectively.
Enjoy the show. Here is the projected starting lineup.
