Wisconsin senior forward Frank Kaminsky has won the Oscar Robertson Player of the Year award.

The award is given annually to college basketball's most outstanding player according to the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA). One of six player of the year awards, the Oscar Robertson trophy is the oldest, having been handed out since the 1958-59 season.

Kaminsky averaged 18.7 points and eight rebounds this season and led his team to its second straight Final Four appearance. The Badgers face undefeated Kentucky on Saturday to determine which team will earn its spot in the NCAA tournament final on April 6.
