Picks

11. Minnesota Vikings - Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State

The Vikings already have a promising young cornerback in Xavier Rhodes, but solidifying the spot across from him should set the defense up for long-term success. Waynes could earn a starting spot as a rookie, allowing Captain Munnerlyn to remain in the slot and possibly giving Minnesota one of the NFL's most talented secondaries.

12. Cleveland Browns - Kevin White, WR, West Virginia

Despite making some veteran wide receiver additions in free agency, the Browns are still in desperate need of talent at the position. Cleveland would be thrilled to see White on the board, who many feel is this year's top pass catcher.

13. New Orleans Saints - DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville

If the Saints are going to make a Super Bowl push while Drew Brees is still capable of playing at a high level, they'll need to add passing targets to replace Jimmy Graham. Parker provides just that and would complement the talents of Brandin Cooks.

14. Miami Dolphins - Jalen Collins, CB, LSU

The Dolphins did well to upgrade a number of positional needs in free agency, so they may be just a few pieces away from becoming a true contender in the AFC. Collins would provide a significant upgrade at starting cornerback opposite Brent Grimes, giving the Dolphins some back-end talent to pair with what is one of the NFL's best defensive fronts.

15. San Francisco 49ers - Arik Armstead, DE, Oregon

All of a sudden, the 49ers' once dominant front seven looks to have some significant question marks heading into 2015. Armstead is a unique talent that could be used at a number of positions across the defensive line, contributing most against the run, but also having some potential as a pass rusher.

16. Houston Texans - Landon Collins, S, Alabama

With a dominant defensive front in place, the Texans could stand to make some upgrades in the secondary. Collins, the consensus top safety prospect, would provide a strong downhill presence on the back end that can be a force against the run.

17. San Diego Chargers - Danny Shelton, DT, Washington

Both running back and offensive line will have to be under consideration, but Shelton falling to this spot forces the Chargers to eschew those needs for the time being. An ideal fit at nose tackle in San Diego's 3-4 front, Shelton's imposing presence would help solve the unit's leaky run defense.

18. Kansas City Chiefs - Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford

Though the Chiefs could stand to add another wide receiver early in the draft, the free-agent addition of Jeremy Maclin allows them to turn their attention to the offensive line. As a strong pass protector and run blocker, Peat could start at left or right tackle from day one.

19. Cleveland Browns (via Buffalo) - Malcom Brown, DT, Texas

Having addressed the offensive side of the ball with their first pick earlier in the round, the Browns could go with one of this year's top interior defensive line talents. Brown would likely play several positions in Cleveland's defensive front, with his greatest impact coming as an interior pass rusher.

20. Philadelphia Eagles - Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State

Chip Kelly and the Eagles find success on the offensive side due in large part to their tempo and scheme, but wide receiver has quickly become a glaring need. Strong catches everything in his sights and did well to answer questions about his speed with an impressive combine performance.
