Brandon Magee still committed to football despite attending spring training, agent says

Free-agent linebacker Brandon Magee is off to Boston Red Sox training camp after being cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday, but he still has his sights set on a football career. 

Magee's agent, Blake Baratz, told Pro Football Talk his client remains committed to football. 

There have been rumors circulating that Brandon Magee, who was recently released by Tampa Bay, has given up football with the intention of playing professional baseball. This could not be further from the truth. While he does attend spring training for a few weeks up until the beginning of the NFL off-season program, he is 100% fully committed to playing in the NFL.

Magee was mainly a special-teamer for the Bucs, making just seven tackles in nine games last season.
