Report: Former Hokie Joey Van Zegeren headed to Northwestern

Former Virginia Tech forward Joey Van Zegeren is expected to transfer to Northwestern, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.
A 6-foot-10 forward, Van Zegeren is a graduate transfer, making him immediately eligible to play next season.
This year, he averaged 9.8 points and 5.3 rebounds but after an incident at practice, he received a four-game suspension. He left the team shortly after in late January.
The Dutch native will add some much-needed depth to Chris Collins' lineup, which severely lacks a veteran body.
