A pizza delivery driver who was involved in an altercation with D'Qwell Jackson claims the Indianapolis Colts linebacker threatened to kill him.

Jackson was arrested around 8 p.m. ET in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday and charged with simple assault after allegedly punching the delivery driver, Jose Bonilla-Fuentes, in the face.

According to a police report obtained by the Washington Post, Bonilla-Fuentes briefly parked in a spot assigned to Jackson so he could deliver a pizza, which angered the linebacker.

Bonilla-Fuentes made an appearance on CBS Sports radio Wednesday to explain his side of the story.

"What happened is that a crazy guy tried to choke me," Bonilla-Fuentes said, adding that Jackson said he was going to kill him.

But Jackson became remorseful after police were called to the scene, according to Bonilla-Fuentes.

"He come to me and say, 'Please, please I'll give you whatever money you need, but don't do nothing, don't let the police take me,' " Bonilla-Fuentes said.

Jackson is coming off his first season as a Colt after signing a four-year, $22-million deal. He finished with a team-leading 140 tackles and four sacks.
