Oregon's Marcus Mariota wins big at College Football Awards
Oregon's Marcus Mariota was all smiles during Thursday's broadcast of the Home Depot College Football Awards Show, and the junior quarterback had plenty of reasons to be - three to be exact.
Not only did Mariota win the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award and the Davey O'Brien award for the nation's best quarterback, he also added the prestigious Maxwell Award, which is given out to college football's best player, to his trophy mantel.

Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright III took home the Bednarik award, the nation's top defensive honor, while Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper and Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon won the Fred Biletnikoff and Doak Walker awards, respectively.
