Maryland kicker Brad Craddock won the Lou Groza Award on Thursday.
The award is given to college football's top place kicker.
The junior kicker completed 18-of-19 field goal attempts this season, and converted all 41 of his extra point attempts.
He beat out Florida State's Roberto Aguayo and West Virginia's Josh Lambert.
Craddock becomes the first Terrapin to win the award.
Tulane's Cairo Santos won the award in 2013.
