Special teams, a rookie receiver and a key injury were the difference as the Buffalo Bills earned their second win of the season with a 29-10 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Here's what you need to know:
- Bills running back C.J. Spiller had an eventful afternoon returning kicks. He left the game after suffering an injury on the opening kickoff, but returned and reeled off a 102-yard touchdown on a return in the third quarter.
- Spiller also rushed for 69 yards on 12 carries, including a 47-yard gain. He averaged 5.8 yards per carry.
- Rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins led all wideouts with 117 yards on eight receptions, including a 12-yard touchdown with 13 seconds left in the third quarter.
- The Dolphins lost running back Knowshon Moreno to a left elbow injury in the first quarter, and the veteran tailback did not return.
