Watch: Fellaini sees red for ludicrous headbutt on Aguero

In a development that will surprise absolutely nobody, Marouane Fellaini was the centre of attention for all the wrong reasons in Thursday's Manchester derby.

The afro-clad Belgian got the start as the Red Devils looked to sit deep and stymie the more attack-minded Citizens - a Jose Mourinho classic, if you will - and Fellaini was playing his role perfectly until losing his head in the latter stages of the contest.

Seconds after being booked, Fellaini couldn't help himself but to thrust his forehead against that of Sergio Aguero after the Argentine took some exception to a seemingly innocuous foul.

Aguero sold it somewhat, but Fellaini was absolutely daft to think he wouldn't see red for the exchange.

Despite playing the final minutes down to 10 men, United held on to earn a point, as the match finished goalless.
