This season marks the first time in 20 years that the second round of the NBA playoffs won't feature LeBron James, Stephen Curry, or Kevin Durant, but Trae Young isn't ready to declare a new era just yet.

"I don't really wanna say that until they're all gone, just to show my respect toward them and what they've done for the game before all of us had even got a chance to play," the three-time All-Star said on the latest episode of Bleacher Report's "From the Point by Trae Young." "I don't wanna say that I didn't give them respect, and I'll wait 'til they're gone to say that the game and the era has changed.

"Obviously, you see how many talented guys are in the league and young guys. The last couple of championships have been from (Nikola) Jokic and Giannis (Antetokounmpo), and even MVP. So it's a lot of new guys taking over and things like that, but those guys are still here. Don't get it twisted."

James and the Los Angeles Lakers had their playoff run ended by Jokic's Denver Nuggets for the second straight season Monday, falling 108-106 in Game 5 of their first-round series.

Durant and the Phoenix Suns were swept in the first round by the Minnesota Timberwolves, while Curry the Golden State Warriors failed to advance to the postseason after finishing 10th in the Western Conference.
