Spurs' Dele Alli wins 2nd straight PFA Young Player of the Year award
For the second consecutive season, Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Dele Alli has been recognized as the best young talent in the Premier League, the 21-year-old taking home another PFA Young Player of the Year award on Sunday.

Alli's victory marks the fifth time in the last six seasons that the award has been bestowed on a Tottenham player, with Kyle Walker (2011-12), Gareth Bale (2012-13), and Harry Kane (2014-15) all preceding his two triumphs.
The England international has been a dominant force for a Spurs side pushing Chelsea for the Premier League crown. In 31 league matches this season, Alli leads all midfielders with 16 goals, adding five assists to solidify his status as the most promising young Englishman around.
Indeed, that he was omitted from the shortlist for the PFA Player of the Year award came as a surprise to many - which, in turn, made his win in the youth category almost a foregone conclusion.
It seems inevitable that Alli will be challenging for the marquee PFA honour next season.
