Barcelona has been issued a fine of €19,000 by European football's governing body for a pair of infractions during the club's Champions League tilt against Paris Saint-Germain, with UEFA citing field invasion by supporters and card accumulation of players as its two charges.

The Blaugrana completed a sensational come-from-behind victory over the Parisian side earlier in March by defeating PSG 6-1 at Camp Nou, but it came at the cost of five yellow cards issued to Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic, Luis Suarez, and two-goal hero Neymar.

UEFA cited a rule that disciplines clubs for drawing five or more yellow cards in a single match. Curiously, five Paris Saint-Germain players also picked up yellow card infractions in that same match, though the French outfit was not issued a similar slap on the wrist.

Additionally, Barcelona's supporter conduct yielded a charge for field invasion.

Though an exact incident was not specified, it's likely the charge stemmed from the supporter who got over the advertising boards to celebrate alongside Lionel Messi after Sergi Roberto's dramatic 95th-minute goal.
