Brandon Marshall endorses McCown to mentor former teammates
There's at least one person impressed by the New York Jets' signing of veteran quarterback Josh McCown.
While many turned their noses up at McCown joining his 10th career team, ex-Jets receiver Brandon Marshall was happy to hear his former teammates will be graced with the presence of the 37-year-old quarterback.
Beast!!! My young receivers are in great hands!! @JoshMcCown12 https://t.co/RcNc3j32Xx

Marshall, who recently switched New York allegiances to the Giants, played with McCown for two seasons as members of the Chicago Bears in 2012 and 2013.
Though McCown has been a backup for most of his 14-year career, he has been heralded as a great teammate and leader everywhere he has gone. McCown will have plenty of mentoring to do as only one receiver or quarterback on the Jets roster has played more than two seasons.
