Here is a look at the Squad Up daily NBA fantasy picture for Tuesday, March 21:

Dynamic Duos

  • PG Rajon Rondo (62K) & SG Denzel Valentine (40K), Bulls (at Raptors): Rondo should return to another 30-plus minutes of action after seeing limited run in a tough matchup against the Utah Jazz. The volatile guard is risky, but his recent resurgence is tempting at such a fair price. Valentine has averaged 11.4 points and 6.2 rebounds over his past five.
  • C Hassan Whiteside (82K) & SF James Johnson (59K), Heat (vs. Suns): Whiteside has 12 straight double-doubles. The trend won't stop against Phoenix's inexperienced frontcourt of PF Alan Williams and C Alex Len. Johnson's career-best year in Miami just won't slow down. He's averaging 14.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists through March.
  • PF Blake Griffin (77K) & SG Austin Rivers (34K), Clippers (at Lakers): Griffin didn't play in Monday's fourth quarter and was rested just two games ago. There's a fair chance he'll play again, Tuesday. Rivers, however, could be in for an elevated role. The Clipperss play five games this week and PG Chris Paul has played in 14 straight games since his injury.

Bargain Plays

  • PG J.J. Barea (36K), Mavericks (vs. Warriors): Barea's passing ability gives him immense value at this price tag. He has averaged 12.3 points and eight dimes in his past three games while playing only 21 minutes. His workload will continue to increase as he returns to full health.
  • C Aron Baynes (25K), Pistons (at Nets): Baynes' per 36 minutes double-double potential should have daily players targeting him to close out the season. He's picked up double-doubles in two of his past three, despite playing less than 25 minutes in each contest. Even at 20 minutes a night, he's a fantastic fill-in for tournament lineups.
  • PF Bobby Portis (35K), Bulls (at Raptors): Portis moved to the bench against Utah, Sunday, and he racked up 22 points with five rebounds. His rebounding is secure, but his scoring is the X-factor. The 22.5 usage rate he saw and the 13 shots he attempted against the Jazz, however, give credence to the idea his bench role could be best.

Top Fades

  • PF DeMarcus Cousins (95K), Pelicans (vs. Grizzlies): It's been a slow March for Boogie, who's averaging just 19 points, 11.3 rebounds, and three assists in eight games. His 47.9 true shooting percentage during the month is also the first time he has sunk below 55 percent this year. Cousins won't break out of the funk against Memphis' stout defense.
  • SF Andrew Wiggins (64K), Timberwolves (vs. Spurs): Wiggins is a relatively obvious fade in this matchup. SF Kawhi Leonard will give him fits all night. The former Kansas Jayhawk has averaged just 14 points and four rebounds in 10 career games against the Spurs.
  • PF Zach Randolph (52K), Grizzlies (at Pelicans): After averaging more than 25 minutes in the months of January and February, Randolph is down to 22 in March. Z-Bo has also failed to score at least 10 points in three of his past five. Poor baseline production isn't fit for his notable salary.

Contrarian Options

  • PF Nikola Mirotic (52K), Bulls (at Raptors): Mirotic was an absolute dud in Utah, scoring five points in 17 minutes. In the three games prior he averaged 17.7 points and 7.7 rebounds. If you're willing to let his performance against one of the league's best defenses slide, a bounce-back game against Toronto would play well in tournament settings.
  • SF Wayne Ellington (41K), Heat (vs. Suns): Ellington's shooting 44.6 percent from deep through his past 10 games. Thet accuracy has helped him make 3.7 treys a game and average 13.6 points during the stint. He could be in for a very productive night against an up-tempo but weak defensive opponent in Phoenix.
  • SF Shabazz Muhammad (41K), Timberwolves (vs. Spurs): Muhammad has scored at least 15 points in each of his past three games. The loss of Nemanja Bjelica has helped Muhammad average almost 28 minutes a night in those three games. His workload could lead to another 15 points despite the tough matchup.
