Two days after NC State announced his firing, which is effective at the end of the season, Wolfpack fans gave head coach Mark Gottfried a nice ovation during pregame introductions.
Gottfried was booed during his last introduction on Wednesday, the night before he was fired.
NC State entered Saturday's game against No. 25 Notre Dame on a six-game losing skid.
