Report: Orioles, Rangers among teams shopping relievers

The Baltimore Orioles and Texas Rangers - two teams with an abundance of quality relievers - seem to be shopping a few of their bullpen arms, which are at a premium this offseason.

The Orioles have reportedly made it clear they are willing to trade reliever Brad Brach, while the Rangers continue to receive interest in a few relievers, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

Rosenthal mentions Jeremy Jeffress - who is projected to earn $2.9 million in arbitration - as one of the relievers the Rangers are making available.

The Orioles have been searching for an outfielder on the open market and through trade, and recently showed an interest in New York Mets outfielder Curtis Granderson. The Mets were said to like Brach and would likely ask for him in any deal involving an outfielder.

Brach is coming off the best season of his career, posting a 2.05 ERA with 92 strikeouts in 71 games. He was especially dominant against right-handed hitters, limiting them to .126/.187/.212 combined.

For the Rangers, other than Jeffress it's unclear who else the team would be willing to move, though Keone Kela has been receiving interest from teams, despite posting a 6.09 ERA this past season. The 23-year-old is under team control until 2021.
