The Oakland Athletics are in the market for a center fielder and could take advantage of the Kansas City Royals' selloff in order to find one.
Oakland is reportedly among the teams making a push for Jarrod Dyson, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
Dyson is coming off a strong season with Kansas City in which he hit .278/.340/.388 with one home run, 14 doubles, eight triples, and 30 stolen bases in 107 games. The 32-year-old speedster is expected to earn $2.5 million in his final year of arbitration.
The Royals are believed to be shopping both Dyson and closer Wade Davis this winter, but will still try to compete next season.
