Being under the basket and living the moment himself was all Phoenix Suns center Alex Len needed after being put on a screensaver by Zach LaVine on Friday night.

"I didn't watch SportsCenter because of that," Len said, laughing, according to the Arizona Republic's Paul Coro. "On my Instagram, I got like 50 comments - 'RIP, rest in peace on the good career, retire,' stuff like that. It definitely was funny. You can't take stuff like that serious. Everybody gets dunked on."

Len, who currently leads the Suns with 1.5 blocks per game and 26 total, would have loved to have stuffed the two-time Slam Dunk contest winner - which is easier said than done when you consider how effortlessly LaVine can elevate off the hardwood.

"It would've been a great block," Len added. "I got up high. If it was anyone else, I probably would've blocked it but there's just one guy - the f--king dunk champion. Someone like that, you can't block it but I was there. I even touched a little bit of the ball. Everybody else in the league, I'm sure I can block.

"I just try to contest everything, no matter what is coming to the rim. We've got to protect the paint."

Phoenix wound up losing the contest to Minnesota, 98-85, with Len finishing with six points, 11 boards, and four rejections in 29 minutes.
