La La Anthony: Referee ejected Melo over 'personal' issue

Most superstars get the benefit of the doubt, but that courtesy wasn't extended to Carmelo Anthony on Friday.
Anthony was whistled for a questionable loose ball foul, then slapped with two consecutive technical fouls for using - in the words of referee Tony Brothers, who ejected him - "bad language."

That isn't how La La Anthony, the actress and wife of Anthony, saw the infraction, though.
Anthony's teammate, Derrick Rose, echoed La La's sentiments.
"I was surprised," Rose told ESPN's Ian Begley. "He was still talking quietly. I didn't get it. They have a history, I guess."
