Carmelo Anthony hit the showers early Friday night after getting a little too hot under the collar.
The New York Knicks forward vehemently disagreed with a loose-ball foul charged to him in the second quarter against the Boston Celtics. He picked up a technical foul for voicing his disagreement, then promptly got hit with a second - and an automatic ejection - for continuing to pester referee Tony Brothers.
It was particularly unfortunate for Anthony since he'd started the game red-hot, dropping 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting in the first quarter, while helping the Knicks crawl back from a big early deficit.
Without him, the Knicks got steamrolled 115-87.
