Blackhawks' Campbell to play left wing vs. Blue Jackets

After expecting be a healthy scratch for Friday's matchup with the Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brian Campbell has been thrust into a brand new role.

The veteran blue-liner will suit up on left wing, skating on a line with youngsters Nick Schmaltz and Ryan Hartman.

Forward depth has been a question mark for Chicago this season, and Marian Hossa's recent injury has clearly forced head coach Joel Quenneville to get creative.
