Colorado lands 4-star forward Evan Battey

Four-star power forward Evan Battey announced Tuesday his commitment to Colorado as a member of its 2017 recruiting class.

Battey, a native of Villa Park, Calif., chose the Buffaloes over scholarship offers from Miami and Purdue, among other programs.

Battey isn't ranked on the ESPN 100, but still received a four-star rating form the network. He's the second four-star prospect to commit to Colorado this month, joining fellow forward D'Shawn Schwartz.
