Report: Kings continue to shop Ben McLemore
The Sacramento Kings are still looking for suitors for talented shooting guard Ben McLeMore.
McLemore has been made available to trade for months, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.
Having added rookie Malachi Richardson and veteran Arron Afflalo to bolster the shooting guard position, Sacramento's position on McLemore hasn't changed since they tried to move him at last year's trade deadline.
The 23-year-old fits the profile of a potential 3-and-D wing - the type so coveted across the league. He drilled threes at a career-high rate of 36.2 percent last season on 4.6 attempts per game, and he's incredibly athletic, with good length to defend the wing.
However, he's been maddeningly inconsistent at times, and has yet to fully actualize his potential with the Kings. With just one year left on his deal before he hits restricted free agency, Sacramento is hoping to salvage its asset.
In three years with the Kings, McLemore has averaged 9.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 27.2 minutes per game.
