Avalanche sign Tlusty to tryout offer

The Colorado Avalanche have signed winger Jiri Tlusty to a professional tryout offer, the team reported Tuesday.
Tlusty appeared in 30 games with the New Jersey Devils last season, tallying two goals and two assists.
The 28-year-old has 177 career points in 446 games. Aside from New Jersey, he's also lined up with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, and Winnipeg Jets.
