Value Rankings
C | 1B/DH | 2B | SS | 3B | OF | SP

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Mike Trout (LAA) vs. TOR 9
Stephen Piscotty (STL) at SF 9
Trea Turner (WAS) at ATL 8

Trout has a .320 batting average and 1.018 OPS vs. right-handed pitchers this season; the latter rate ranks first among all 212 outfielders with at least 20 plate appearances against RHPs. He'll face knuckleballer R.A. Dickey in a notably breezy stadium, which could cause issues for Dickey's control. Trout is a safe cash-game play.

Piscotty has a crisp 1.000 OPS against LHPs. While AT&T Park is a lot tougher to hit in than Busch Stadium, but Piscotty should still be in the middle of the Cardinals' lineup in the three-spot. He's priced slightly below the elite tier of outfielders so won't need to do as much to return value. He's a good cash game play.

Mid-Tier Targets

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Giancarlo Stanton (MIA) at PHI 7
Joc Pederson (LAD) at ARI 7
Tyler Naquin (CLE) vs. DET 6

We're still waiting to see when (or if) Stanton will actually return to a starting role in the field this season or whether he'll be restricted to pinch-hit at-bats after making a surprise late-season return from injury. If he does start, he'll have a great matchup against a left-handed pitcher; he's slugged .612 against LHPs this season, so he makes for a nice contrarian in a tournament lineup.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Justin Upton (DET) at CLE 4
Gerardo Parra (COL) vs. SD 3
Matt Kemp (ATL) vs. WAS 2

Kemp and Nationals ace Max Scherzer have some shared history; the slugger has hit just 3-for-36 (.083) against the former Cy Young-winner in his career. If you're looking for creative ways to waste DFS budget, Kemp is your man.
