Report: Brown's suspension has Giants working out Hartley, other kickers

Josh Brown's one-game suspension reportedly has the New York Giants weighing their options on the free-agent kicking market.

Veteran Garrett Hartley is among several players working out at the team facility Monday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. The Giants are also scheduled to give fourth-year veteran Randy Bullock a look, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Brown received his suspension last week as a result of a 2015 arrest for domestic violence. An incident report has since revealed his ex-wife told police of over 20 domestic violence incidents.

Giants officials have sidestepped all questions on the issue, and there's no indication Brown's future with the club is in jeopardy after he serves his punishment.

Hartley is best known for his five-plus seasons with the New Orleans Saints from 2008-2013, where he converted 82 of 101 attempts for a respectable 81.2 percent rate.

The 30-year-old made three kicks across two games for the Cleveland Browns in 2014, before ending up out of the league for all of last season.
