Red Sox spend rain delay with Ashanti

The Boston Red Sox made the most of their rain delayed start Saturday evening in Detroit, hanging out with singer-songwriter Ashanti.

Ashanti was on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch but made a pit stop to the visiting clubhouse as the game was delayed more than an hour. When she did finally hit the field, her pitch missed high and wide.

Ashanti, not always there when you call, but always on time.
