Braves' Jenkins delivers epic interview after 1st win

FOX Sports South / Twitter

It took more than a month, but Atlanta Braves rookie right-hander Tyrell Jenkins finally earned the first win of his major-league career Friday when he pitched six scoreless innings of four-hit ball to defeat the Philadelphia Phillies.

After earning the victory, Jenkins participated in a pretty amazing interview, where he discussed what he was doing during a brow-wiping ninth inning where Braves interim closer Jim Johnson nearly blew the team's lead, and what he was most looking forward to doing after earning the win.

Jenkins, a former first-round pick of the St. Louis Cardinals, who came to the Braves along with Shelby Miller in exchange for Jason Heyward and Jordan Walden in 2014, is 1-2 with a 4.91 ERA on the year.
