Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Mike Wallace, recently signed to provide a deep threat, failed his conditioning test Wednesday, the opening day of Ravens training camp.
The team announced he's expected to pass the test in the next few days.
The 29-year-old was cut by the Minnesota Vikings in March after recording the least-productive season of his career last year.
He was signed to a two-year deal to fill the deep-threat role left vacant by Torrey Smith, but Wallace may struggle to provide that after failing a standard conditioning test.
Wallace may get another shot at the test before Thursday's practice, reports Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun.
