The waiting game surrounding Croatian forward Dario Saric and his arrival to the NBA appears to be over.

The No. 12 pick of the 2014 NBA draft will sign his contract with the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, according to CSN Philly's Jessica Camerato.

There had been mixed reports concerning whether or not the 22-year-old was prepared to make his way to America after spending the past two seasons with Turkish club Anadolu Efes. The lack of money he could make during his rookie season in comparison to his pay overseas, along with the franchise putting so much stock in first overall pick Ben Simmons, were reportedly two reasons why Saric would decide to remain in Europe.

He was originally drafted by the Orlando Magic, but then immediately dealt to the Sixers in exchange for point guard Elfrid Payton.

Saric recently led Croatia to a win in the World Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Turin, Italy, by defeating the home team in the final stage. He was named Most Valuable Player for his efforts, averaging 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 2.2 assists during the competition.

In 24 appearances last season for Anadolu Efes, Saric averaged 11.7 points on 50 percent shooting, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 22.5 minutes per game.
