Former NBA first-round pick Ekpe Udoh is commencing an effort for a return to North America next season.

"It's definitely a possibility to come back to the NBA," Udoh, who played this past season with Turkish team Fenerbahce Istanbul, told The Vertical's Shams Charania. "I can see myself fitting back today. I have lowered my weight to 240, so I'm even more mobile."

Udoh has set a July deadline to decide on the best offer from six NBA teams and two European clubs, according to Charania.

The Oklahoma native last played in the NBA two years ago with the Los Angeles Clippers. Drafted sixth overall by the Golden State Warriors out of Baylor in 2010, the 6-foot-10 big man averaged 4.4 points and 3.5 rebounds on only 42.8 percent shooting in his first four seasons with the Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks.
