The Cleveland Indians capped a record-setting June at Progressive Field with a 6-1 win over the Rays on Wednesday, completing the club's first undefeated calendar month of at least 10 games in franchise history.

The Indians' perfect 11-0 home record was just one of several jaw-dropping anecdotes to come out of Wednesday's busy day of action, which saw everything from bouncing-ball catches to career-worst outings. Here's the night in numbers:

3: Innings Jeff Samardzija lasted in his shortest outing as a Giant. Samardzija's forgettable night - he allowed six runs on six hits, including three homers - also matched the shortest outing of his nine-year career.

12: Years since a team went perfect at home during a calendar month. The Indians' immaculate June marks the first such month in the majors since the Houston Astros went 12-0 in September 2004.

4.78: Koji Uehara's ERA after surrendering two homers during Wednesday's blown save and loss to the White Sox. Uehara's five homers allowed through 28 appearances this season already exceeds last year's total by two.

5: The deficit San Francisco stormed back from in its 7-6 come-from-behind win over Pittsburgh. The Giants joined the Rangers as the only teams in the majors to erase five-run deficits and win at least twice this season.

1,510: Number of runners Adrian Beltre has cashed during his career, as the Rangers third baseman climbed up the RBI list and passed Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle with a fourth-inning single in Wednesday's win over the Reds. Beltre is now in sole possession of 53rd on the all-time list.

7: Games in a row the Rays have lost after getting swept by Cleveland. It's Tampa Bay's longest losing streak of the season.

4: Number of times the ball deflected off a glove or body part during Adrian Gonzalez's circus catch against the Nationals.

1963: The last year a team started its entire infield in the All-Star Game. After Wednesday's latest NL ballot update, the Cubs' Addison Russell, Kris Bryant, Ben Zobrist, and Anthony Rizzo - still the top vote-getter in the senior circuit - remain on track to start the 87th midsummer classic.

47: Games the Rangers have won this year, matching the Chicago Cubs for the most in the majors. The Rangers are the only team in baseball with a 10-game division lead.

1: Number of players who have struck out five times in a game this season after Nationals outfielder Michael Taylor became the club's first member Wednesday against the Dodgers.

114: Years it took the Yankees to record a victory via a walk-off homer after hitting a grand slam earlier in the game - one in which they trailed 8-4 to the Rockies entering the seventh - according to Elias Sports Bureau. Apparently, there's a stat for everything.
