Weather Watch: Thursday, May 12

Greg M. Cooper / USA TODAY Sports

Here's a look at the weather ahead of Thursday's eight-game slate (all start times ET):

Dome Games: San Diego Padres at Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants at Arizona Diamondbacks

Detroit Tigers at Baltimore Orioles, 7:05 p.m.

A low chance of rain prior to game time switches to the possibility of a thunderstorm shortly after first pitch. There's no real threat of rain until later in the evening, but thunder and lightning could cause a delay. The game should still be played.

Risk Factor: 5

Kansas City Royals at New York Yankees, 7:05 p.m.

Clear skies before the start of the game will include some clouds as the game goes on, but there is no significant chance of rain. A modest breeze will blow toward the left field wall.

Risk Factor: 1

Houston Astros at Boston Red Sox, 7:10 p.m.

The skies over Fenway Park will be clear all night long, with no chance of rain affecting this one. The wind will be entirely insignificant.

Risk Factor: 0

Philadelphia Phillies at Atlanta Braves, 7:10 p.m.

A significant chance of a thunderstorm includes rain and stretches over the entirety of Thursday's game in Atlanta. As tough as it may be, DFS owners should fade all players involved.

Risk Factor: 8

St. Louis Cardinals at Los Angeles Angels, 10:05 p.m.

A warm clear night in Los Angeles, with no precipitation in the forecast. Light winds will blow out toward center field, but they're unlikely to provide much of a boost for hitters.

Risk Factor: 0

New York Mets at Los Angeles Dodgers, 10:10 p.m.

Much of the same over Dodger Stadium. Clear skies, warm temperatures and a lack of rain. Winds of one to three miles per hour won't have an affect.

Risk Factor: 0
