Not just Vardy having a party: Best moments from Leicester's coronation

Leicester City is the Premier League champion - you may have heard. Now the Foxes have the hardware to prove it.

Claudio Ranieri and his cast of unlikely kings, officially crowned on Monday, got to celebrate their improbable victory in front of a jam-packed, boisterous King Power Stadium on Saturday.

The 3-1 victory over Everton, little more than a sideshow on a day that was all about celebration, gave way to the official trophy presentation, the highlight of what was ebullience incarnate in the Midlands. But that was far from the only memorable event to take place in and around the stadium.

Here are the best moments from Leicester's title party:

Fans create brilliant atmosphere

They were loud, and they were everywhere. Inside the stadium, outside, on the other side of the world in Thailand, supporters of the Foxes were in full voice to celebrate Saturday's historic moment.

Chanting, cheering, clapping, and generally just making themselves heard, the over 32,000 people inside the King Power Stadium rarely sat down; not even a mid-match deluge of rain could scupper their enthusiasm.

Andrea Bocelli gives everyone goosebumps

The iconic Italian tenor made good on a promise to Leicester boss, and compatriot, Claudio Ranieri, putting on a spellbinding performance of both "Nessun Dorma" and "Time To Say Goodbye" ahead of the match.

Sit back and enjoy the magic.

It's alright if there were tears. You weren't alone.

Vardy closes in on Kane with a brace

Oh, right, there was an actual match. In truth, it wasn't much of a contest.

Everton, riding out the season and expected by many to send manager Roberto Martinez packing this summer, were battered by the Foxes, who attempted 33 shots en route to a comfortable 3-1 win.

Jamie Vardy, the marquee man for so much of the season, was at the forefront once again, netting a brace, pushing his season tally to 24 and getting to within a single goal of Harry Kane for the Premier League lead.

Had he not blazed a penalty over the bar in the waning minutes, he'd be tied with his fellow Englishman atop the charts.

The hardware is handed out

Now, it feels real.

Captain Wes Morgan, in tandem with Ranieri, hoisted the coveted piece of silverware high into the sky, a culmination of the greatest season English football has ever seen.

So often a bridesmaid throughout his career, the affable gaffer finally got his moment in the sun, and it, like almost everything else that happened on this day, was magical.
