The Buffalo Sabres signed forward Johan Larsson to a one-year contract Friday.
The 23-year-old is coming off his third season with the Sabres where he played a career-high 74 games while also hitting career-bests in goals and points with 10 and 17 respectively.
The deal will pay Larsson $950,000, according to TSN's Bob McKenzie.
Larsson was originally drafted in the second round by the Minnesota Wild in 2010.
