Ex-49er Davis rips organization, wants team to select OT in 1st round
Former San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Anthony Davis delivered a scathing critique of his previous organization, the night before the 2016 NFL Draft commences.
Davis - who said he'd apply for reinstatement for the 2016 season in April, after retiring in June 2015 - said the front office is showing an unwillingness to win games.
I do not want to work with a front office or anyone else who seemingly doesn't want to win as bad as I do.

This isn't the first time Davis blasted the organization. When Davis announced his intention to apply for reinstatement earlier this month, the 26-year-old said working with general manager Trent Baalke was giving him "a headache."
Davis implied that he'd been manipulated by Baalke and the 49ers on Wednesday.
Would you happily rent your body out to people that bullshit you and constantly try to manipulate you? I hope you'd stand up for yourself.

If Davis were to play for the 49ers, he'd want some help on the offensive line although left tackle Joe Staley remains one of the best players at his position. Davis lobbied for the 49ers to use their first-round pick on an offensive tackle, nonetheless.
The 49ers should Draft an Offensive Tackle in the top 10. #NFLDraft2016

The timing of Davis' comments are certainly curious and it'll be compelling to see whether it affects the 49ers' choice at No. 7 overall Thursday.
