Anthony Davis confirms reinstatement plans for later this year
Retired San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Anthony Davis confirmed earlier reports he will be filing for reinstatement later this offseason via his Twitter account Friday.
I'll be filing for reinstatement to the NFL later this year. Dealing with Trent is giving me a headache.

ESPN's Adam Schefter had reported that Davis will be applying for reinstatement for the 2016 season in late February.
The 26-year-old, in a surprise move, retired last offseason, but has stated all along that he planned to return to the NFL.
Davis says he will be filing "later in the year" which means he could decide not to return until after the 49ers' offseason workouts or after training camp. He also referenced general manager Trent Baalke giving him a headache, which could be a sign of frustration or just a playful ribbing on April Fools' Day.
